Theme: The Shepherd of the Sheep
Text: John 10:2&3
2 But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him, the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 




Yesterday's devotion taught us that we ought to be discerning as people might try to enter our lives through unapproved doors. The text for today introduces us to the Shepherd of the sheep, Jesus Christ. Unlike the devil and his agents who enter into the sheepfold through dubious means to compromise security, Jesus enters through the door opened by the doorkeeper. Dear beloved, you're a doorkeeper to your heart, soul, spirit, and body. Jesus knocks at the door to your life, and when you open it, He makes His way into your life. When you establish a good relationship with Christ, you do not need to struggle to discern his voice and lead in life. In this year 2025, you need the leading of Christ to triumph. In this year and beyond, there's a miracle God will call you by name to receive but if you are not alert or attentive in spirit, you'll miss it. Ask God to help you to hear His voice and He should lead you out to conquer in all spheres of your life. 



Let us Pray: Almighty God, thank You for being my Shepherd. I pray for the spirit of obedience and submission to hearken Your voice. Please lead me to triumph in all areas of my life in this year 2025. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

DEVOTION ~ JUDGING RIGHTEOUSLY

Theme: Judging Righteously Text: Genesis 38:26 26 So Judah acknowledged them and said, “She has been more righteous than I because I did not give her to Shelah my son.” And he never knew her again. Previous devotion taught us that Tamar sent the pledge Judah gave her to him to identify the owner. Upon receiving the items Judah acknowledged his wrong. Judah did not allow pride or ego to cloud his judgment but rather pointed to the role he played in leading Tamar to take such a drastic step to get pregnant. Dear beloved in the Lord, don't be quick to point people's wrong without considering yours. Let us learn from Judah to never push blame to others if we are guilty. Let us Pray: Almighty God, forgive me for employing the full rigour of the law on defaulters but failing to in my own case. Grant me sound judgment to act righteously. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
