Theme: Stored Up Goodness
Text: Psalms 31:19&20
19 Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear You, which You have prepared for those who trust in You in the presence of the sons of men! 20 You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence from the plots of man; You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.



God has a great plan for anyone who fears and trusts Him. This is an unfailing plan because He never repents on His promise. He has said that His plans are for good, not evil, to bring us to an expected end. Dear beloved in the Lord, the stored up goodness of God can be accessed each day of our lives if we reverent Him and trust every area of our lives to Him. Previous devotion has taught us that the wicked lie in weight to destroy us but like David, we must trust God to rescue us. It is written, he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. The presence of God shall put our adversaries to fright and they cannot spew evil against us. Then we can declare, that God has prepared a table before us in the presence of our helpless enemies. Take a moment today to ask God to help you access His stored goodness in all spheres of your life.   



Let us Pray: Almighty God, how great is Your goodness that You've stored up for those who fear and trust You. I submit to Your authority today and resist every enticing scheme of the devil. Hide me, Lord, in Your presence and grant me access to Your stored goodness. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

DEVOTION ~ JUDGING RIGHTEOUSLY

Theme: Judging Righteously Text: Genesis 38:26 26 So Judah acknowledged them and said, “She has been more righteous than I because I did not give her to Shelah my son.” And he never knew her again. Previous devotion taught us that Tamar sent the pledge Judah gave her to him to identify the owner. Upon receiving the items Judah acknowledged his wrong. Judah did not allow pride or ego to cloud his judgment but rather pointed to the role he played in leading Tamar to take such a drastic step to get pregnant. Dear beloved in the Lord, don't be quick to point people's wrong without considering yours. Let us learn from Judah to never push blame to others if we are guilty. Let us Pray: Almighty God, forgive me for employing the full rigour of the law on defaulters but failing to in my own case. Grant me sound judgment to act righteously. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
