COMMAND YOUR WEEK
There are times we feel intimidated by our troubles and adversaries. We shall surmount them all if we learn to ask God to intervene. Sisera was an army general who troubled Israel until Deborah judged Israel. God used her, Barak and Jael to humble the proud Sisera to death. Sisera was not killed by a man of war but rather by a housewife, Jael. In the song of Deborah, she ended with a powerful prayer as recorded in Judges 5:31, “Lord, may all your enemies die like Sisera! But may those who love you rise like the sun in all its power!” Then there was peace in the land for forty years. Make use of this prayer to command your week.
Declare, Lord, may all my enemies die like Sisera! But may my loved ones and I rise like the sun in all its power!” May there be peace in every field of our lives forever.
AMEN!
