Theme: Save a Soul
Text: James 5:19&20
19 Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, 20 let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.



Our ultimate goal as children of God is to save souls rather than watch them be destroyed. In today's text, we're called to order to help save those who have backslidden. Sometimes, desires or influence from others can make a brethren wander away from the truth. We must not give up on such a person but rather strive to redeem him from the path of destruction. Remember that God never gave up on us in our sins but sent Jesus to save us. Dear beloved in the Lord, what steps have you taken to lead back a brethren who has wandered from the truth? If you feel he should be left to perish, today's text is a wake-up call to persist until he is saved. Let us be each other's keepers to correct each other in love. 


Let us Pray: Almighty God, thank You for sending Jesus to deliver me from destruction. I ask for the grace to reach out to all who have wandered from the truth. Equip me, Lord, to bring such souls back to Your house. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

What inhibits you determines what comes out of you. The two elements are light and darkness. The light within produces good, whereas darkness is evil. It is recorded in  Ephesians 5:8-9 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good, right, and true.  Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, I no longer walk in darkness but rather in light. Therefore, every product of darkness within and around me is extinct. I decree that my family and I live in light, and we enjoy what the light produces in fullness. Our deeds are good, right, and true. AMEN!"
