Theme: Christ Lives in You
Text: Romans 8:10-11
10 And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life because you have been made right with God. 11 The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.



The greatest scene in history is the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. His death and resurrection have been foretold. He conquered death and rose on the third day. This is the message of salvation which has been preached over the centuries. Christ's resurrection is an assurance to us that we, too, shall be raised to life, just as He has. Yesterday's devotion taught us that our walk with Christ is Spirit-led rather than fleshly. We walk not by the dictates of the flesh but rather by the leading of the Holy Spirit, bearing fruit of the Spirit. In our human flaws, we see the power of God at work through our weaknesses. So that, although we die unable to fully satisfy the demands of the law, Christ's righteousness speaks to our defence as we surrender to Him because He has made us right with God. The Holy Spirit is the giver of life because He is life. Therefore, if we walk by His guidance, we shall defeat the second death to attain life everlasting. Dear beloved in the Lord, just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, He will give life to our mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within us. 



Let us Pray: Almighty God, giver of life, I come to You this day requesting to be adorned with the righteousness of Christ. Lord, indwell me and give me life through the Holy Spirit so that I can attain everlasting life. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

COMMAND YOUR WEEK

What inhibits you determines what comes out of you. The two elements are light and darkness. The light within produces good, whereas darkness is evil. It is recorded in  Ephesians 5:8-9 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good, right, and true.  Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, I no longer walk in darkness but rather in light. Therefore, every product of darkness within and around me is extinct. I decree that my family and I live in light, and we enjoy what the light produces in fullness. Our deeds are good, right, and true. AMEN!"
