DEVOTION ~ ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

Theme: Absolutely Nothing! 
Text: Romans 8:38-39
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.



Previous devotions have established guidelines on the love of God and how we have found favour in His sight. As we saw yesterday, in Christ we have conquered everything. In concluding this chapter, we are told nothing has the power to separate us from God. Irrespective of the form of a thing, whether good or bad, beautiful or ugly, holy or unholy, present or yet to come, height or depth, or anything created can interfere with God's love towards us. God is true, and He does not relent in His promises towards us. Therefore, dear beloved in the Lord, choose God today and forever for a glorious end. 



Let us Pray: Almighty God, thank You for the assurance that nothing can separate me from Your love. Give me a cheerful spirit to be faithful in my walk with You. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

COMMAND YOUR WEEK

What inhibits you determines what comes out of you. The two elements are light and darkness. The light within produces good, whereas darkness is evil. It is recorded in  Ephesians 5:8-9 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good, right, and true.  Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, I no longer walk in darkness but rather in light. Therefore, every product of darkness within and around me is extinct. I decree that my family and I live in light, and we enjoy what the light produces in fullness. Our deeds are good, right, and true. AMEN!"
