INSEPARABLE LOVE
Theme: Inseparable Love
Text: Romans 8:35-36
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
Yesterday's devotion taught us that the Lord, who justifies and judges, have acquitted us of every form of condemnation. God carried out the plan of wiping our slate clean of sin through His love. The love of Christ is unconditional and expressed genuinely. Therefore, nothing can change God's love towards us. Irrespective of the circumstances of our lives, whether tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, or sword, God is faithful and will continually love us. When we are under attack because of our faith, may we be encouraged by the perseverance of the early church and stand firm.
Let us Pray: Almighty God, thank You for loving me unconditionally and the assurance that nothing can separate me from Your love. Please, keep my heart and mind from destructive spirits and make me faithful. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
