DEVOTION ~ SEASON'S DECLARATION

It is not automatic everyone will enter into the year 2024. Grace must speak over your life to secure a place in the coming year. There are still some of Herod's incarnates in your life that are not willing to allow you to triumphantly enter into 2024. However, if you will submit to God and heed His warnings, you will crossover in victory and possess your possessions in 2024. Matthew 2:19-21 states that " Now when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the young Child’s life are dead.” Then he arose, took the young Child and His mother, and came into the land of Israel". Declare "My Father! My Father! May every contention against me in the spiritual realm to prevent me from entering 2024 alive and in victory be broken, crashed, and consumed by the fire of the Holy Spirit. By Your hedge covering over my life and the war ...

DEVOTION ~ SEASON'S DECLARATION

The Lord always uses divine means to warn us about possible spiritual attacks or manipulations against our lives. If we heed these warnings we narrowly escape the wicked intention of our adversaries. The wise men and Joseph acted as they were instructed to save the life of the infant Jesus. Likewise, we must be spiritually discerning to divinely escape any evil agenda against us. According to Matthew 2:12&13 "Then, being divinely warned in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed for their own country another way. Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring you word; for Herod will seek the young Child to destroy Him.”" Declare, "In the Name of Jesus, I receive spiritual alertness to heed every warning from God either by dream, vision, or trance. I act swiftly on every divine warning as I prepare to end the ye...

DEVOTION ~ SEASON'S DECLARATION

Each of us has a star (glory) but some circumstances can deem the brightness of the star to bring the right people and opportunities our way, it takes only the Light of Jesus Christ to make our stars noticeable. Matthew 2:9-11 states, " When they heard the king, they departed; and behold, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh." Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, may every evil cloth covering my star be consumed by the fire of the Holy Spirit. I decree my star shall shine and those who are to help me in any way locate me as the wise men located baby Jesus. I decree uncommon favor, joy unspeakable, heavenly treasu...

DEVOTION ~ SEASON'S DECLARATION

In a world where pretense has become the order of the day, people turn to be nice to get what they really want from you and give you a heartbreaking attitude. Herod was not ready to worship the King of the Jews but cunningly asked the wise men to bring feedback to him about the child: " Then Herod, when he had secretly called the wise men, determined from them what time the star appeared. And he sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and search carefully for the young Child, and when you have found Him, bring back word to me, that I may come and worship Him also (Matthew 2:7&8).” Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, any dark conspiracy against my destiny to change my divine course of life I command the conspirators to stumble and fall. It is written, let God arise and His enemies be scattered, therefore, anyone who contends my divine course of life as an enemy becomes an enemy to God. By the covenant of the Blood of the Lamb, the Lord arises on my behalf and scatters my a...

DEVOTION ~ SEASON'S DECLARATION

As the year draws to an end, we ought to be mindful of how we disclose aspirations and dreams to others. Some do not have any good intent toward us but are just trying to inquire more about us to destroy us. Matthew 2:3&4 states "When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born". Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ any unfriendly friend gaining access to information concerning my marriage, children, health, finances, businesses, projects, and any area of my life for evil lose your memory right now. I decree may evil spiritual cameras assigned against me and my family catch fire. By the potency of the Blood of the Lamb of God, I cannot be monitored by evil spirits from this time forth and forevermore. Thank You, Lord for this divine exemption. AMEN!"

DEVOTION ~ SEASON'S DECLARATION

Our ultimate goal in life is to worship the Lord. Matthew 2 gives an account of wise men seeking the baby Jesus to worship Him: "Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him” ~ Matthew 2:1&2.  Declare, "The praise of my God shall not depart from my lips. I shall honour the Name of the Lord with my household. As the wise men searched for Jesus, so shall we also search for Him and ponder over His miracles and provisions over our lives to glorify His Majestic Name. In this season and beyond, I and my family will worship the King of Glory. In the Name of Jesus Christ have I prayed. AMEN!

DEVOTION ~ IMMANUEL! MERRY CHRISTMAS

Theme: Immanuel! Text: Isaiah 7:14 14 Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel. The birth of Jesus Christ was foretold by the Prophet Isaiah many years before He was born. He was conceived by a virgin through the works of the Holy Spirit. This shows that what God cannot do does not exist. But why should a virgin give birth to a child of the Holy Spirit? The best explanation lies in the name given to the child, Immanuel. Immanuel means God with us. God wants to be with us at all times and if we welcome Him into our hearts, He will come in to stay. It is Christmas and the joy it brings is that God is with us. Merry Christmas my lovely readers and followers. Wishing you the best in the years ahead as the Lord is with you. PRAYER: Dear God, may Your presence grant us a joyful Christmas and usher us into the new year in good health, long life, prosperity, and all blessings from Your Throne Room. This ...

COMMAND YOUR WEEK

Some people are not ready to see us move on to the next level of our lives as was the case of the enemies in the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem. Ezra 5:5 states "But the eye of their God was upon the elders of the Jews, so that they could not make them cease till a report could go to Darius. Then a written answer was returned concerning this matter" The response the wicked were anticipating to hear turned out otherwise. It is stated in Ezra 6:7&8 that King Darius commanded the enemies saying, "Let the work of this house of God alone; let the governor of the Jews and the elders of the Jews build this house of God on its site. Moreover, I issue a decree as to what you shall do for the elders of these Jews, for the building of this house of God: Let the cost be paid at the king’s expense from taxes on the region beyond the River; this is to be given immediately to these men so that they are not hindered. Declare, "In the Name of Jesus, God is watching over m...

CHARACTER STUDY ~ JOSEPH (MARY'S HUSBAND)

This December, we have been looking at characters in the Bible that protected the lives of children. Today's character is Joseph the husband of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  The name Joseph is a Hebrew name that means God shall add or increase. He was the earthly or foster father of Jesus Christ. He is of the lineage of Judah. Characteristics of Joseph: ✔ He is a gentleman both in spirit and in flesh. Mary was betrothed to Joseph, but before they came together, she got pregnant with the Holy Spirit without Joseph's knowledge. Being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly. It only takes a kind-hearted person to secretly put his woman away quietly as her act is an abomination. We need the spirit of gentleness to relate with others.  ✔ He encountered the angel of the Lord who explained Mary's situation to him. If we make our ways align with God's will for our lives, we will encounter Him.   ✔ He was obedient and did...

DEVOTION ~ ALL IS YOURS

Theme: All is Yours Text: Luke 15:31&32 31 “And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. 32 It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.’ ” In previous devotions, we learned of how unhappy the prodigal son's brother was that a feast was ongoing for his little brother who wasted their father's wealth whereas he had never even been given a little goat to make merry with his friends. His father's response is a deep revelation to us as children of God: " Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours". Oh, mine! God has made everything available for us but we have restricted ourselves from having them all. If we identify ourselves with His provisions/possessions, then we can claim them. Just like the elder son of the rich man, most of us feel the possessions are not ours but the Father's. We have forgotten a price has been paid through ...

DEVOTION~ THIS SON OF YOURS

Theme: This Son of Yours Text: Luke 15:30  30 But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him. In yesterday's devotion, we learned that rage and grumbling are not good to be mentioned among us as Christians. The prodigal son's elder brother does not understand why their father should organize a feast to welcome him home. While talking to his father, he made reference to his brother as "this son of yours". He just does not want to have anything to do with his younger brother with the statement he made. Often most of us do refer to members of our household, colleagues at the workplace, and neighbours whom we feel are inferior using the phrase, "this one/person", "this ...".   Dear beloved in the Lord, we are all members of the body of Christ so stop degrading people based on their past mistakes. It is true the prodigal son spent his money with harlots and was wayward but he retu...

DEVOTION ~ RAGE AND GRUMBLING

Theme: Rage and Grumbling Text: Luke 15:28&29 28 “But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore his father came out and pleaded with him. 29 So he answered and said to his father, ‘Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your commandment at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends. In yesterday's devotion, we learned that the elder son returned from working in the field to meet the feast for the younger brother. His rage kindled and he was not ready to join in the feast simply because his father had never allowed him to make merry with his friends. Most of us Christians are like this gentleman, we often see it as inappropriate for people we assume as not fit to receive the gift of God. Likewise, Jonah was just not ready to go to Nineveh because he knew God is merciful and would forgive when the people repent (Jonah 4:1-3). Every penitent child of God deserves God's mercy so never give room for r...

DEVOTION ~ SAFE AND SOUND

Theme: Safe and Sound Text: Luke 15:25-27 25 “Now his older son was in the field. And as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing. 26 So he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. 27 And he said to him, ‘Your brother has come, and because he has received him safe and sound, your father has killed the fatted calf.’ As we learned of the joy of the father of the prodigal son when he returned home, his elder brother, however, was in the field working for their father. He questioned the servants why they were making merry and the response  was  ‘Your brother has come, and because he has received him safe and sound, your father has killed the fatted calf.’ The purpose of the merry is that a prodigal son has returned safe and sound. The Lord is pleased when we return to Him in penitence because the devil our adversary is roaring like a lion seeking to devour us: The devil's aim is to steal, kill, and destroy us through deceit. In yesterd...

DEVOTION ~ DEAD BUT NOW ALIVE

Theme: Dead But Now Alive Text: Luke 15:22-24 22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe and put it on him and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. 23 And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; 24 for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ And they began to be merry. The dead have no conscience as they neither know what their state is nor what is being done to them. The prodigal son is said to be dead because he chose the path of destruction and had no idea he was treading a dead end. He only came alive when he realized how miserable and wretched his life had become outside his father's home. Likewise, sin puts us to death and makes us unconscious of displeasing the Father or going contrary to His Word. We can be lost through sin: To be lost simply implies deviating from the truth. However, when we return and confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from every...

COMMAND YOUR WEEK

In a world where evil is rampant, everyone seeks to put in place security and safety measures to ensure they are well protected. However, these measures often fail exposing them to danger. It is only in the Lord we can be assured of one hundred percent protection. Proverbs 18:10 states "The NAME of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe". The Name of the Lord that has power over all names is the Name JESUS.  Declare that, "In the Name of Jesus Christ I take refuge. I enter into preservation and protection through the Name of Jesus for His Name is a strong tower in which I run into and I am safe. So long as I dwell in His Name no harm shall come near me and I triumph on all sides. My week displays the efficacy of the Name of Jesus as every evil hold is broken and they bow to the authority of Jesus Christ as it is written in Philippians 2:9-11. AMEN!"

CHARACTER STUDY ~ JOCHEBED

Jochebed is a Hebrew name that means God's glory. She was the mother of Aaron, Miriam, and Moses. She was a Levite and a wife to Amram. She played a significant role of faith in the life of the baby Moses.  Some Characteristics of Jochebed    ✔ She was married to her nephew. It is written of her to be the sister of Amram's father.   ✔ During the time male Israelite children were killed in Egypt, she played an instrumental role in protecting the infant Moses. She hid the baby for three good months. The ability to do this shows she was a strong woman and very determined to save her son.     ✔ She was creative. When she could no longer hide the baby, she got a papyrus basket, coated it with tar and pitch, and put the baby in it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile. Later Pharoah's daughter found the baby and named him Moses.    ✔ She might have assigned Miriam to keep watch. It was not surprising she was called to nurse the child for ...

DEVOTION ~ THE FATHER'S LOVE

Theme: The Father's Love Text: Luke 15:20&21 20 “And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. 21 And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ Who can ever be like our God? He is a caring and loving Father who is always on the lookout for the prodigal child's return. While the young man was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, ran to meet him, fell on his neck, and kissed him. That is how God reacts whenever a prodigal child decides to seek His mercy. The decision alone to return is enough to be forgiven. Before the young man could open up about his wrong, the father's gestures were most welcoming. This authenticates what is in 1 John 1:9  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousnes...

DEVOTION ~ WAKE UP!

Theme: Wake Up! Text: Luke 15:17-19 17 “But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, 19 and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.” ’ Spiritual consciousness is needed to be aware of one's environment. An unconscious person does not have a sense of reality. The prodigal son came to his senses when he realized how wretched his life had become. At that moment he began to think about home. Dear beloved in the Lord, you need to also wake up from any form of unconsciousness to face reality. There is no joy outside the presence of God for the presence of God is more than gold. If sin has taken you away from the path of truth, and you are wandering in the desert of despair, regret, dejection, damnation, and the like it is nudging you to return ...

DEVOTION ~ ARE YOU IN WANT?

Theme: Are You in Want? Text: Luke 15:14-16  14 But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want. 15 Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. 16 And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything. In yesterday's devotion, we learned that the young man spent his wealth on wild living. The text for today is about how miserable the young man became after spending his wealth carelessly. The ability to be efficient is guided by the willingness  to make wise decisions specifically godly ones. Because the young man was careless with his possessions, he soon ran into want unfortunately there was nowhere to find help. Associating with the right people (godly people) in life is sure to make us wise but if we choose the company of fools (wild living) we will suffer harm. Since he was in need, the worst thing in life (fe...

DEVOTION ~ WILD LIVING

Theme: Wild Living Text: Luke 15:13 13 And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living. In yesterday's devotion, we learned that a rich man's younger son asked for his share of the inheritance while the father was still alive. The text today expounds on what the young man did after taking his share of the inheritance. He wasted his possessions on prodigal living. That is to say, he spent his wealth on wild living. Wild living is a total deviation from godly living. Youths and even the elderly are living promiscuous, corrupt, and unprofitable lives just like how this young man wasted his wealth. Until one submits to God and resists the devil, he/she cannot come out of this wild living. To surrender to Christ is to break out from wild living. In subsequent devotions, we will read on how the young man came to this realization and actions he took.   PRAYER: Sovereign Lord, I entrust m...

DEVOTION ~ MY SHARE

Theme: My Share Text: Luke 15:11&12 11 Then He said: “A certain man had two sons. 12 And the younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.’ So he divided to them his livelihood. In previous devotion, we have been learning about Jesus' parable of finding lost items. To illustrate the point further, Jesus told His listeners a story about the prodigal son. Today's text is the introductory part of the story where a son demands his portion of inheritance. In many settings all over the world, a will is only read or takes effect after the demise of the one who issued it. It will be weird to do otherwise when the owner is still alive. The youngest son made a request that his share of the inheritance be given to him while his father was still alive. Many of us have been cynical just like this young man: We are only interested in what we will benefit at the expense of others. Our lives have a routine of "give me my share", ...

COMMAND YOUR WEEK

Our sure safety lies with God, not bodyguards. This the psalmist knew very well and so declared it in Psalm 27:1&2 "The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, my enemies and foes, they stumbled and fell". Declare that, "By the presence of God's light in my life, I no longer walk in dark places. Therefore fear has no hold of my life. In God's light, He saves me, and He is the strength of my life therefore I shall not be afraid. By the power of the Holy Spirit,  any evil attempt against my life shall fail because my adversaries will continually stumble and fall. I am blessed and my week displays God's supernatural powers all around in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

CHARACTER STUDY ~ JEHOSHEBA

The name, Jehosheba means "Fullness or Oath of the Lord". It can also be said to mean God is my (her) oath. She was the  daughter of King Jehoram of Judah and a sister to King Ahaziah of Judah. She was the wife of Jehoiada the priest. Although a daughter of Jehoram, but not necessarily of Athaliah. After the death of Ahaziah, his mother, Athaliah, made herself Queen of Judah and ordered the execution of all members of the royal family that could claim the throne. However, saved her infant nephew Jehoash, Ahaziah's son and Athaliah's grandson by hiding him in the temple for six years.  Some Characteristics of Jehosheba: ✔ She acted courageously when she took Jehoash away from being executed. It was written of her to have  stolen him away from among the king’s sons who were being murdered. We need to be courageous and wise in standing up for justice. She did not use swords and guns but bravery coupled with wisdom.    ✔ She honored the Lord by saving Jehoash. The L...

DEVOTION ~ THE PARABLE OF THE LOST COIN

Theme: The Parable of the Lost Coin Text: Luke 15:8-10 8 “Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? 9 And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!’ 10 Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” Jesus uses the analogy of how we look for our precious gems and other valuables to communicate to His audience how God treasures and values every soul on earth. The light used in searching for the lost coin is Him, until Jesus lights up our path we cannot come out of darkness. Once His light brightens our lives, we begin to sweep out every dirt of our lives through confession and repentance. The  sweeping of the house also is a form of the renewal of our souls and minds. The  Holy Spirit convicts us of anything that will hind...

DEVOTION ~ JOY IN HEAVEN

Theme: Joy in Heaven Text: Luke 15:7 7 I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance. As we learned in previous devotions, a lost sheep will be looked for leaving behind the remaining ninety-nine. If the sheep is found, there is joy. The text for today speaks about the joy in heaven over the salvation of human souls. If a sinner comes to penitence there is more joy in heaven than ninety-nine who are righteous (who do not need to repent). God's desire is that the lost would be found and those in darkness see the light of His glory but not for them to perish. We must also pray and reach out to these individuals so that they can repent and be saved. As we go about our duties we should bear in mind, that the Lord is enthroned above watching whatever is happening here on earth. Therefore we must be concerned about the salvation of every soul as children of God. Do you want more joy in he...

DEVOTION ~ REJOICE WITH ME!

Theme: Rejoice With Me! Text: Luke 15:5&6 5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ In yesterday's devotion, we learned that if a sheep goes missing from a hundred, the shepherd leaves the ninety-nine behind and searches for the lost sheep. Today's text is about what happens when he finds the lost sheep. No one hides a lost item that has been found but rather displays it to the world to express joy. As believers, we need to rejoice when new converts, repented backsliders  join us  and lukewarm Christians change their ways. Just like the shepherd, we must call out to friends and other companions in the Lord to rejoice with us.  PRAYER: Almighty God, stir in us the joy to pursue bringing light where there is darkness so that we can find the lost souls. Our prayer is we shall continually declare re...

DEVOTION ~ LEAVING THE NINETY-NINE

Theme: Leaving the Ninety-Nine Text: Luke 15:3&4 3 So He spoke this parable to them, saying: 4 “What man of you, having a hundred sheep if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? Jesus tells a parable of the lost sheep out of a hundred flock. He stated that the shepherd would leave behind the ninety-nine and go after the missing sheep. The Lord is at work constantly to find missing souls in His flock. Likewise, must we also be driven by the command of the Great Commission to seek after the backsliders, those who do not know the Lord, and lukewarm Christians amongst others. Let us intensify outreach programs in the church and train members to avail themselves to embark on missions. May we go in search of the lost souls until we find them. PRAYER: Almighty God, You sent Christ to seek us and He found us. Help us to also seek for souls that are perishing and bring them before Your presence so that ...

DEVOTION ~ COMPANIONABLE

Theme: Companionable Text: Luke 15:1&2 15 Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him. 2 And the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying, “This Man receives sinners and eats with them.” One amazing characteristic of Jesus Christ is His companionable nature. He is open to everyone irrespective of one's background or past. This infuriated the Pharisees and Scribes. Jesus welcomes sinners and eats with them. He did not come to judge the world but to save it through His lovingkindness.  Dear beloved in the Lord, we are called to be welcoming towards all without discrimination. The lifestyle of the Pharisees and Scribes can be said to be hypercritical. Their insecurities about Jesus made them find faults in whatever He did. If this lifestyle of the Pharisees and Scribe is at work in you, invite the Holy Spirit to make you more welcoming like Jesus.    PRAYER: Deliver me O Lord from the spirit of hypercriticality and stir in me the receptive ...

COMMAND YOUR WEEK

The priestly blessing is found in Numbers 6:24-26 “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.” By the mercies of Christ, we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that we may proclaim the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9). Therefore we can declare these priestly blessings over our lives daily.   Declare in the Name of Jesus, the Lord blesses and keeps me, His face shines upon me and He is gracious to me. The Lord's countenance is upon me and He gives me peace on all sides. I walk in these blessings this December and beyond. Curses cannot function in my life from this day forth and forever more in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

CHARACTER STUDY ~ RACHEL

Rachel means “ewe in Hebrew or “one with purity.” She was the daughter of Laban and the favourite wife of Jacob. She had two sons. Some Characteristics of Rachel: ✔ She was the youngest daughter of Laban and very beautiful. Although she was beautiful, she tended her father's sheep. We must understand our physical beauty is well-defined by inner beauty. Learn to be hardworking. ✔ Her hard work made her path cross with Jacob. If we avail ourselves of duty or serve faithfully, good and great things will locate us in life.     ✔ Jacob was ready to serve an additional seven years to marry her. Jacob found love in her, not lust. We must also learn to distinguish between lust and love in our relationships. Pre-marital sex always blindfolded the minds of those who indulge in it thereby creating challenges in their lives.     ✔ Her challenge in marriage was infertility. She was barren and this led her to give her maid out to bore children with her husband. She never...

DEVOTION ~ MEDITATION & REFLECTION

Theme: Meditation & Reflection Text: Psalm 119:15&16 15 I will meditate on Your precepts, and contemplate Your ways. 16 I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word Our walk with Christ must be characterized by meditation and sobber reflections of His Word. This process does not only attract the blessings of God to us as mentioned in Psalm 1, but it also renews and transforms our perspective of the issues of life. We are not swayed or tossed by the wind of deceit or the crafty device of the wicked. The delight for God's Word stirs up in us and grants us the retentive memory of the Word which serves as a weapon to defeat the devil and his agents. Dear beloved in the Lord, delight yourself in the Word of God and you shall experience a divine shift from the ordinary to the supernatural.  PRAYER: O Lord, awaken my soul to take delight in the Word of God so that I may gain divine insight. I receive the ability to meditate and reflect on the Word in all t...
