DEVOTION ~ PENTECOST

Theme: Pentecost Text: Acts 2:1-4 2 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. On the seventh Sunday after Easter, Christians all over the world celebrate Pentecost. It is a festival that marks the descending of the Holy Spirit unto the Church. The Holy Spirit existed long ago but has no dwelling in man until Christ asked of the Father to send Him down to those who believe in Him. He is with us and manifests distinctively in our lives unlike in the past where He manifests for a while and departs from man until needed to perform a function amongst mankind. In Numbers 11 the seventy elders to help Moses exper...

DEVOTION ~ THE HOLY SPIRIT

Theme: The Holy Spirit  Text: John 14:25-26 25 These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. The beauty of life is in the ability to recall pleasant moments in life and sharing these amazing memories with others without hitches. Jesus aware of the struggles His disciples will go through from the time of His arrest through to resurrection and ascension, knows the wonderful things discussed with the disciples may be forgotten by them when the journey gets tough: Thomas exhibited this when he doubted the Lord was risen (John 20:24-29). It is for this reason Jesus assured the disciples of a Helper in the person of the Holy Spirit. He is to teach the disciples and bring to remembrance all things Christ had discussed with them. Dear beloved in the Lord, the Holy Spirit has accomplished this in the lives of t...

DEVOTION ~ PUT ON CHRIST

Theme: Put on Christ Text: Romans 13:11-14 11 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. 13 Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. 14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts. The Christian world is a big family and just like any family, children could resemble or pick up some behaviors of their parents. It's so lovely to see a child that takes after his/her parent smiles, looks, walking style or even a posture of standing. Spiritually, it's more fulfilling to see Christians look just like Christ in conduct. You can only be Christlike if you put on Christ. Dear beloved in the Lord, with all the chaos in the world, and the ...

DEVOTION ~ BREAD OF LIFE

Theme: Bread of Life Text: John 6:35 35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. For good health, everyone needs to feed well; a balanced diet for that matter. Do you really feed well? I'm sure your answer is yes, but that's just to nourish the body (a tent) which will return to dust someday. What then happens to your soul within? The soul also deserves food but not carnal food. The nutritious food for the soul is the Word of God. The Word of God is Jesus Christ who is the source of all lives (John 1:4). Having fed the multitude, the next day they came looking for Him. But will they yearn for food that can't sustain them forever just as their ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness (John 6:22-34)? Jesus said, He is the bread of life and whosoever comes to Him will never hunger. You can fully nourish your soul if you draw near to God. If you're eager to learn the Word of God it...

DEVOTION ~ THE PILGRIM'S CHARGE

Theme: The Pilgrim's Charge Text: Jeremiah 29:4-7 4 Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, to all who were carried away captive, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem to Babylon: 5 Build houses and dwell in them; plant gardens and eat their fruit. 6 Take wives and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons and give your daughters to husbands, so that they may bear sons and daughters—that you may be increased there, and not diminished. 7 And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the Lord for it; for in its peace you will have peace. It's great we delve into another wonderful text today. The text for consideration is God's Word to His people on how to live the exile life for the better. As believers, we can also say we are on exile here on earth since home is with the Father. The second chapter of first Peter reminds us of our pilgrimage on this earth: 11 Beloved, I beg you as sojourners ...

DEVOTION ~ SAVED BY GRACE

Theme: Saved by Grace Text: Ephesians 1:3-6 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. We ought to be grateful to God at all times for His love and mercy for us. Out of love, God gave His only begotten Son to die for us and give redemption to those who believe in Him (John 3:16). This love redirects us to our dominion which was comprise by our first parents Adam and Eve when they sinned against God (Genesis 2 & 3). Before the foundation of the world, God chose us by creating us in His own image for us to be holy and without blame (Genesis 1:2628) but disobedienc...

DEVOTION ~LIVE BY FAITH

Theme: Live By Faith  Text: Romans 1:16-17 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” The Gospel is the Good News about our Lord Jesus Christ. This Good News brings redemption to the soul that believes in Jesus. As a child of God, you need not be ashamed of this Gospel for the salvation of your soul lies in it. Go out there and proclaim this Gospel to all. The more you proclaim the Word, the more it empowers your faith. It's only by faith you can please God. You're justified by faith. Let your faith define you and give you an identity in Christ Jesus. This identity makes you unique and special when you stand before the throne of mercy, as your appearance is transformed in Christ Jesus. Dear beloved in the Lord, move from faith to faith at all tim...

DEVOTION

Theme: The Deliverance of God  Text: Psalm 33:18-19 18 Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, on those who hope in His mercy, 19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. God created all things and He has total control over them. When you look up to God in all things, the end result is awesome. This is because He orders your steps and directs you on the right path. It's important to also fear the Lord. Those who fear the Lord adhere to His commands. It's in obedience that you trust the Lord no matter the circumstances surrounding you. He also watches over you to deliver you from any form of harm.  God's total deliverance is manifested in our Saviour Jesus Christ. You'll be saved if you believe in Jesus and will be raised to live on the last day. Turn to God for your soul to be delivered from death and find eternal rest. Prayer: Dear God, I submit to You. Take hold of my hand and lead me through this lives journey. Help me to atta...

DEVOTION

Theme: Resist Reprisal Text: Obadiah 1:10-16 10 “For violence against your brother Jacob, shame shall cover you, and you shall be cut off forever. 11 In the day that you stood on the other side—In the day that strangers carried captive his forces, when foreigners entered his gates and cast lots for Jerusalem—Even you were as one of them. 12 “But you should not have gazed on the day of your brother in the day of his captivity; Nor should you have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; Nor should you have spoken proudly in the day of distress. 13 You should not have entered the gate of My people in the day of their calamity. Indeed, you should not have gazed on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity. 14 You should not have stood at the crossroads to cut off those among them who escaped; Nor should you have delivered up those among them who remained in the day of distress. 15 “For the day ...

Theme: Build Your Temple  Text: Haggai 1:2-9 2 “Thus speaks the Lord of hosts, saying: ‘This people says, “The time has not come, the time that the Lord’s house should be built.” ’ ” 3 Then the word of the Lord came by Haggai the prophet, saying, 4 “Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, and this temple to lie in ruins?” 5 Now therefore, thus says the Lord of hosts: “Consider your ways! 6 “You have sown much, and bring in little; You eat, but do not have enough; You drink, but you are not filled with drink; You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; And he who earns wages, earns wages to put into a bag with holes.” 7 Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Consider your ways! 8 Go up to the mountains and bring wood and build the temple, that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified,” says the Lord. 9 “You looked for much, but indeed it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why?” says the Lord of hosts. “Because of My house that is in ruins, w...

DEVOTION

Theme: Will You Ever Ascend?  Text: Luke 24:50-53 50 And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. 51 Now it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and carried up into heaven. 52 And they worshiped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, 53 and were continually in the temple praising and blessing God. Amen. Today is Ascension Day amongst Christians all over the world. Jesus after His resurrection, stayed with the disciples and those who believed in Him for forty days before ascending up to heaven. As He ascends He blessed His followers as they worship Him.  Christ's blessings on the Apostles can locate you if you surrender to Him. In our normal lives, parents usually bless their children before they die. But with us born in Christ Jesus, He blesses us each moment even when He's departing with assurance of returning. When God's blessings come upon you, receive it in humility and in worship. Be a worshipp...

DEVOTION

Theme: Jesus Christ Our Mystery  Text: 1 Timothy 3:14-16 14 These things I write to you, though I hope to come to you shortly; 15 but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. 16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory. The church is the pillar and ground of truth whose mystery can't be fathomed by mere mortals. It takes the power of the Holy Spirit to discern this knowledge and get better understanding. The head of the church is Jesus Christ who also is an example to the church. The Christian must emulate all the lifestyle outline by the Apostle Paul in the first thirteen verses of first Timothy chapter three. Jesus isn't just anybody but a child promised to redeem the world (Isa...

DEVOTION

Theme: Watch Your Time  Text: Mark 13:32-37 32 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33 Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is. 34 It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch. 35 Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming—in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning— 36 lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. 37 And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!” Just as we came into the world, so we'll exit at different times. Some may have a short time before us but it's really a fulfilled and complete journey for them. In Sam Cooke's Change gonna come, he said, "it's been too hard living but afraid to die because he doesn't know what's up there beyond the sky". This shouldn't be the...

DEVOTION

Theme: What's Your  Path; Evil or the Just?  Text: Proverbs 4:14-19 14 Do not enter the path of the wicked, and do not walk in the way of evil. 15 Avoid it, do not travel on it; Turn away from it and pass on. 16 For they do not sleep unless they have done evil; And their sleep is taken away unless they make someone fall. 17 For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence. 18 But the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day. 19 The way of the wicked is like darkness; They do not know what makes them stumble There are two paths in life: the path of wickedness and the path of the just. Psalm one gave much detail of these paths (You can also refer to 13th April, 2019 blog for more light on Blessings of the Righteous). You are not to walk the path of the wicked. It is evil and deadly to walk this path. The wicked does not go a day without doing evil. Dear friends in the Lord, many of us have walked and continued t...

DEVOTION

Theme: Be a Staunch Priest  Text: Psalm 99:6-9 6 Moses and Aaron were among His priests, and Samuel was among those who called upon His name; They called upon the Lord, and He answered them. 7 He spoke to them in the cloudy pillar; They kept His testimonies and the ordinance He gave them. 8 You answered them, O Lord our God; You were to them God-Who-Forgives, though You took vengeance on their deeds. 9 Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at His holy hill; For the Lord our God is holy. Understanding your identity is one key factor in winning your battles. The psalmist made known the priests of God; Moses, Aaron and Samuel who called on God. Amazingly, you're also a priest through Christ Jesus. You're just not any priest but a royal priest chosen for divine glory (1 Peter 2:9). You can also call on God and He will hear you if you're committed to serving Him.  Hearing from God, requires building good relationship with Him. You don't get to speak with someone you fail to gr...

DEVOTION

Theme: Your Foreign wives  Text: Ezra 10:7-12 7 And they issued a proclamation throughout Judah and Jerusalem to all the descendants of the captivity, that they must gather at Jerusalem, 8 and that whoever would not come within three days, according to the instructions of the leaders and elders, all his property would be confiscated, and he himself would be separated from the assembly of those from the captivity. 9 So all the men of Judah and Benjamin gathered at Jerusalem within three days. It was the ninth month, on the twentieth of the month; and all the people sat in the open square of the house of God, trembling because of this matter and because of heavy rain. 10 Then Ezra the priest stood up and said to them, “You have transgressed and have taken pagan wives, adding to the guilt of Israel. 11 Now therefore, make confession to the Lord God of your fathers, and do His will; separate yourselves from the peoples of the land, and from the pagan wives.” 12 Then all the assembly an...

Theme: City of Refuge Text: Joshua 20:1-4 20 The Lord also spoke to Joshua, saying, 2 “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘Appoint for yourselves cities of refuge, of which I spoke to you through Moses, 3 that the slayer who kills a person accidentally or unintentionally may flee there; and they shall be your refuge from the avenger of blood. 4 And when he flees to one of those cities, and stands at the entrance of the gate of the city, and declares his case in the hearing of the elders of that city, they shall take him into the city as one of them, and give him a place, that he may dwell among them. The Lord made known to Moses the children of Israel ought to have cities of refuge and so He reiterated it to Joshua to encourage them to build cities of refuge. In our dispensation, these cities should take the form of spirit filled beings that are willing and ready to touch lives and bring about divine changes.  Each day, crime is on the increase and do you care to know why? Th...

Theme: Reveal the Light in You Text: Luke 8:16-18 16 “No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light. 17 For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light. 18 Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him.” You're a light because the Spirit of God resides in you. Light is meant to serve a purpose and so must not be hidden. The purpose is to make the region it is, clear for all to have good vision. Your light must equally shine in this dark world to help others journey through this life with ease and find the way to the Father. Your deeds bring out the light in you. In your doings, avoid being a hypocrite. Be sincere with all and let love manifest in all you do. You can't hide your confession in Christ for long; no...

DEVOTION

Theme: Be Mindful of Your Promises Text: Mark 6:22-26 22 And when Herodias’ daughter herself came in and danced, and pleased Herod and those who sat with him, the king said to the girl, “Ask me whatever you want, and I will give it to you.” 23 He also swore to her, “Whatever you ask me, I will give you, up to half my kingdom.” 24 So she went out and said to her mother, “What shall I ask?” And she said, “The head of John the Baptist!” 25 Immediately she came in with haste to the king and asked, saying, “I want you to give me at once the head of John the Baptist on a platter.” 26 And the king was exceedingly sorry; yet, because of the oaths and because of those who sat with him, he did not want to refuse her. In life, you either learn from your own mistakes or others. Either ways give experiences that guides you as you journey on this earth. One thing you need to keep in mind is, never be quick to make promises when you're unsure the outcome of the promise. Herod never thought the da...

DEVOTION

Theme: Restrain Your Lips   Text: Proverbs 10:19 19 In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, but he who restrains his lips is wise. Talking in itself is not a sin but too much idle talk leads to sin. As a child of God, be mindful how you talk. The more you talk, the more you are likely to say what you ought not to say. You need to develop a habit of hearing swiftly and slow to speak (James 1:19-20). Before you utter a word, ask yourself if it pleases the Lord. Watch over every word that comes out of your mouth and it is the sure way to avoid sinning. If you desire to be wise, then restrain your lips. Prayer: Dear God, let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable and pleasing in Your sight. Teach me to restrain my lips from sinning but strengthen me to reach out to others with the Gospel in Jesus' name have I asked. AMEN!

DEVOTION

Theme: Unmoved  Text: Psalm 27:3 3 Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, in this I will be confident. Life comes with challenges and struggles that often weighs man down. However, if you make room for the Lord in your life, these things will not shake you. The adversaries can gather against you but your heart must not fear. Just trust in God and He'll take up your battles for you. If the Lord takes your battles for you, you shall be unmoved by evil happenings or attacks.  Your Bible study and prayer life prepares you for the day of battle and evil. The knowledge of the Word, will help you to know the right weapons to use to defend yourself. You can confidently say, the Lord is on your side and you've won the battle. They that puts their trust in the Lord, will never be put to shame. Prayer: Strength me o God, to see Your greatness above all things and the saving grace of Your glory. Let not my heart be moved by empty thr...

Theme: Achsah's Request Text: Joshua 15:16-19 16 And Caleb said, “He who attacks Kirjath Sepher and takes it, to him I will give Achsah my daughter as wife.” 17 So Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it; and he gave him Achsah his daughter as wife. 18 Now it was so, when she came to him, that she persuaded him to ask her father for a field. So she dismounted from her donkey, and Caleb said to her, “What do you wish?” 19 She answered, “Give me a blessing; since you have given me land in the South, give me also springs of water.” So he gave her the upper springs and the lower springs. As we celebrate women all over the world, we'd like to look at one female biblical character and learn from her. Our character of study today is Achsah. She is the daughter of Caleb. Her father promised her in marriage to any man who attacks Kirjath Sepher and takes it. Her cousin, Othniel (the son of Kenaz brother of Caleb) succeeded and had her as his wife. Her father has given he...

Theme: My Strength Text: Psalm 118:14 14 The Lord is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation. If you are in the Lord, you can confidently say, He is your strength and song. The psalmist said, he called on the Lord in distress and the Lord answered him and set him on a broad place ( Psalm 118:5). Whosoever calls on the name of the Lord, is saved from evil. God's ever ready to help you if you trust Him. If the Lord be for you, who can be against you? Absolutely no body, the devil won't even try it. It is better to trust in the Lord than put your trust in man. Man is just but a breath. Today, he's all fit but he can't tell if his strength will be same in the next blink of an eye. Riches, friends, position, and all that is seen here on earth as pleasant will fail. Just as COVID 19 has locked many of us down. Our lives weren't so glued to staying home but now, we must stay home to protect ourselves and others. But with God, we can always be assured of our pe...

Theme: Jehovah is the True God  Text: Jeremiah 10:10-11 10 But the Lord is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth will tremble, and the nations will not be able to endure His indignation. 11 Thus you shall say to them: “The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth shall perish from the earth and from under these heavens.” All over the world, there are great number of idols people worship acclaiming they are their gods. But are they really right? Is there a true God aside these idols? Yes, there is. The idols are the craft works of men whereas Jehovah is the Creator of all things. The Amplified Bible describes these idols as scarecrows in a cucumber field (Jeremiah 10:5 AMP). Those that worship these idols will perish if they don't turn to the True God. The Lord is the True God, “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make i...

Theme: Are You Circumcised or Uncircumcised?  Text: Jeremiah 9:23-26 23 Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, let not the mighty man glory in his might, nor let the rich man glory in his riches; 24 But let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the Lord. 25 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “that I will punish all who are circumcised with the uncircumcised— 26 Egypt, Judah, Edom, the people of Ammon, Moab, and all who are in the farthest corners, who dwell in the wilderness. For all these nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in the heart.” For every life in existence, there's a purpose to achieve and as well give account for it. Life must not be lived basically on material possessions, wisdom, power, and earthly gains. Rather, each soul must strive to draw closer to t...

Theme: Hold Fast Your Confession  Text: Colossians 2:6-10 6 As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, 7 rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. 8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. 9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. Just as a child grows into adulthood so must a born again Christian grow into a matured Christian. This is well achieved by continual study of the Bible and fellowship with faithful brethren in the Lord. Your faith can only be well established if you're firmly rooted in the word of God. Be not deceived by traditions that do not draw you closer to God. There are many out there who have misinterpreted the Bible and teach this ...

Theme: Are You an Overcomer?  Text: 1 John 5:4-8 4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. 5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 6 This is He who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. 7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one. The world is full of struggles. It takes grace to sail through it with ease. The poor man complains of his troubles, the rich man is not spared either. Both have their own reasons to lament. However, there's a place of rest and it's this place that one can overcome his struggles in life. This place is the pasture or field of Jesus Chris...

Theme: A Good Name Text: Proverbs 22:1-2 A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, loving favor rather than silver and gold. 2 The rich and the poor have this in common, the Lord is the maker of them all. Dear beloved in the Lord, the love of many has gone cold because, they pursue irrelevant things above relevant ones. The quest to possess power or position often make people do the ugly forgetting a good name is better than their desire. In your walk in life, choose a good name above great riches. The likes of Achan, Sapphira and Ananias lost their lives because they chose riches over good name. Abraham, Jacob, Solomon, Moses, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah all seek favour and good name before the Lord. So, God's blessing rested upon them in all their lives journey. If you also seek first the kingdom of God and its righteousness, all other things shall be added unto you. Whether you're rich or poor, you're a child of God. We have one common ground which ...

Theme: Extol the Name of the Lord  Text: Psalm 145:1-4 I will extol You, my God, O King; And I will bless Your name forever and ever. 2 Every day I will bless You, and I will praise Your name forever and ever. 3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; And His greatness is unsearchable. 4 One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts. At all times, you need to praise God. Giving Him thanks should be a part of your life. Sing His praise forever. Tell of His goodness in your life and that of others. The awesomeness of God is unsearchable. Words can't qualify what He does around us. This we must share with our little ones and even the spiritually immature to help them build their faith in the Lord. Don't hold back the praise of the Lord, say or sing it to the whole world. Prayer: I'll lift up Your name higher o great Jehovah. Your works are awesome and beats my imagination at all times. Be extol on high Mighty and Wonderful King. Ta...

Theme: Jesus Christ  Text: Colossians 1:15-18 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. Christ Jesus is the Son in the Triune God. He is the image of the invisible God. No one has ever seen God, but Christ has been seen by many. Once He has been seen, then humanity has equally seen the face of God. According to the Gospel of John, in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made (John 1:1-3). He...

It's the first day of the fifth month of the year. Praise be to God for the wonderful things He is doing in our lives. It's not by might nor by power but by the Spirit of the Lord that we are alive. Let's join the psalmist to ask, what shall we render to the Lord for all His benefits toward us? Praise and gratitude is what the Lord requires of us. Make known God's goodness in your life by sharing your testimonies and proclaiming the faithfulness of God. The cup of salvation is in Christ Jesus, lift Him up in adoration by singing His appellation at all times. As you praise the Lord, pay your vows through offering, tithe, service in His vineyard and showing kindness to the poor, widows, aged, orphans, destitute, less ...
