Theme:  Trust in the Lord  Text: Psalm 37:1-6 37 Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. 2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. 3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. 4 Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. 6 He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. In times of crisis, people often wish they are at the advantageous position. They often express their interest of wanting to have control over the situation. The wicked in heart does not think of the well-being of others. Just us those who are seeing to the spread of this COVID 19 can be likened to as  insensitive towards human lives. Such wicked people shall be cut down like the grass, and either as the green herb. If the intension for ...

Theme: You're Welcome Lord!  Text: 2 Samuel 6:11 11 The ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite three months. And the Lord blessed Obed-Edom and all his household. Your body has now become an ark for the Lord because it's the temple of the Holy Spirit. In this moment when the world is troubled by COVID 19, it can be likened to the fear that gripped David when the Lord struck Uzzah. You shouldn't be discouraged but rather, invite the Holy Spirit to come into your life. Christ is standing at the door of your heart knocking, will you let Him  in, or not. If you let Him in, you'll experience the total peace from Him just as Obed-Edom enjoyed for three months. Christ told His disciples in John 14:27 that, His peace is not equivalent to the peace of the world. It is this peace every soul needs in this pandemic. Dear beloved, the presence of God in your life, will quench the fear, the psychological trauma, emotional discomfort and the stigma going throug...

Theme:Desiderium for God Text: Luke 2:21 21 Blessed are you who hunger now, for you shall be filled. Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh. Desiring to be close to the Lord is essential in the Christian walk of life. In this season of pandemic, we ought to identify the ugly and the good of it. The ugly is the dread of the virus whereas the good is, you can now have time to reflect on your usual habits. What habit traits can you be identified with? Do you have time for the Lord and for His presence? In this upcoming lockdown, whether you're affected or not, kindly use the time wisely to build a relationship with the Lord. If you desire to know the Lord more, you will be filled through the Holy Spirit. Your desire should be stirred up through the study of the Bible and making time to watch and listen to inspiring messages centered on Christ Jesus. As you do this, the Holy Spirit will enlightened you on your sins. You must not overlook or ignore the nudging of the Holy Spi...

Theme: Self Destruction  Text: Proverbs 29:1 He who is often rebuked, and hardens his neck, Will suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy. The Journey of life comes with some circumstances that often lead people astray. The best form to bring them on track is to rebuke them. A child of God that scoffs rebuke has not really learned to walk with the Lord. For the Lord chastens those that He loves (Proverbs 3:12; Hebrews 12:6-11). An open rebuke is far better than secret love (Proverbs 27:5-7). Don't harden your heart when you're being rebuked. Do well to pounder over concerns raised when you're being rebuked and act wisely to avoid destruction. Especially in this moment of COVID 19, it is advisable to adhere to state officials decrees. If you do otherwise, you're putting yourself at risk as well as others around you. Just as the Father won't be pleased with arrogance, likewise state officials won't tolerate it at all. If you're asked to be indoor, remain...

Theme: Has Your Love Wax Cold?  Text: Matthew 24:12-13 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. The unadulterated love which is the agape love can only be found in Jesus Christ. Once you are united with Him, it is required of you to show this unconditional love to all. Christ said, His followers will be identified by love (John 13:34-35). However in talking about signs nearing the end of time, Christ said the love of many shall wax cold due to iniquity. Many have really exhibited this in diverse ways in this difficult moments of the COVID 19 pandemic. Have you all of a sudden increased the prices of items in your shop because others are doing so, or have you decided to spread the virus and not die alone? What evil part did you play in this pandemic? Are you circulating false information or misleading others to put their lives at risk? Ask yourself, has your love wax cold? How do you kno...

Theme: Deliverance from Death  Text: Psalm 116:3-4 3 The pains of death surrounded me, and the pangs of Sheol laid hold of me; I found trouble and sorrow. 4 Then I called upon the name of the Lord: “O Lord, I implore You, deliver my soul!” Troubles and sorrows surround us each day, however we can be delivered by the power of God. Evil and death may surround us yet we are not discouraged so long as we abide in the presence of God. For His Word says, even if we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil for He is with us (Psalm 23:4). It is important to call on God at all times: when you awake, during the day and when you're about to retire to bed. Christ has conquered death and has given us such grace to overcome in His name. Whatever be your pain in life, there's someone able to deliver you from them all. Set your heart and mind unto the Lord. The church which is you and I, needs to understand that, Christ will build us up and not even the gates of had...

Theme: Look Unto Jesus and Live  Text: Numbers 21:8-9 8 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live.” 9 So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived. When the Israelites sinned against the Lord, He sent fiery serpents in their mist killing most of them (Numbers 21:4-9). The remedy is to look at the bronze serpent hanged on the pole so as to live. Dear beloved in the Lord, we have better chances to live forever through Jesus Christ. Jesus died for us on the cross to wash away our sins and infirmities. The prophet Isaiah says; But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). The only one that gives eternal life is Jesus. Look to Him and you'll subdue every e...

Theme: Forgive Us O God!  Text: Daniel 9:16-19 16 “O Lord, according to all Your righteousness, I pray, let Your anger and Your fury be turned away from Your city Jerusalem, Your holy mountain; because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people are a reproach to all those around us. 17 Now therefore, our God, hear the prayer of Your servant, and his supplications, and for the Lord’s sake cause Your face to shine on Your sanctuary, which is desolate. 18 O my God, incline Your ear and hear; open Your eyes and see our desolations, and the city which is called by Your name; for we do not present our supplications before You because of our righteous deeds, but because of Your great mercies. 19 O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, listen and act! Do not delay for Your own sake, my God, for Your city and Your people are called by Your name.” In the days of Daniel, he seek the face of the Lord for the redemption of his nation. Likewise as a child of Go...

Theme: You are the House of the Lord  Text: 1 Chronicles 22:19  19 Now set your heart and your soul to seek the Lord your God. Therefore arise and build the sanctuary of the Lord God, to bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord and the holy articles of God into the house that is to be built for the name of the Lord.” Dear beloved in the Lord, David desired to built a house for the Lord, but God rather chose his son Solomon to do so. That house is a physical sanctuary but thanks be to God, His dwelling is not in tents made by human hands. You are that sanctuary and the Holy Spirit dwells in you. As the Spirit of God rest in you, you need to set your heart and soul to seek the Lord. The psalmist in Psalm 119:9-11 gives a guiding clue of how to seek the Lord saying; 9 How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word. 10 With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! 11 Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I mi...

Theme: The Ways of the Lord  Text: Psalm 86:11-13 11 Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name. 12 I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, And I will glorify Your name forevermore. 13 For great is Your mercy toward me, And You have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol. God's plan for man is not to destroy him but rather draw him closer to Himself. God is merciful towards His creation and delivers them from any form of harm. You are no exception. God truly loves you and wants the best for you. Walking in the precepts of the Lord, makes you secure on your way. This can only be achieved in the daily study of the Word of God. The psalmist asked that the Lord teaches him His way so as to walk in God's truth and to unite his heart to fear the name of God. God teaches you through His Word.  In Him is truth and no deceit is found. Walking in truth saves you from every evil. No wonder the Apostle Paul admonished in Ephesia...

Theme: Hope in the Lord  Text: Jeremiah 17:17 Do not be a terror to me; You are my refuge and my hope in the day of disaster. God's protection and preservation is all you need in this moment of pandemic of Covid19. God has what it takes to roll away this virus if you call to Him.  As you adhere to all precautions, make time to seek the face of the Lord. He's able to deliver and preserve you in the day of disaster. He will not let evil come near you. All you need is to trust and have faith in Him. Prayer: Dear God, I trust my life, family, nation and the world at large into Your saving Hands. Heal the victims of COVID19 and preserve us from the virus in Jesus name. AMEN!

Theme: Hymn of Faith Text: Habakkuk 3:17-19 17 Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls— 18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,  I will joy in the God of my salvation. 19 The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills. To the Chief Musician. With my stringed instruments. You ought to allow your faith to speak in difficulties. Even if, the tree does not blossom, nor fruits on the vine, you must not be discouraged, put your trust in the Lord. There are moments that everything seems to be fallen apart, but you must not loose heart, rather trust in the Lord more. In trusting the Lord, let it be accompanied with joy. Bible says in Philippians 4:6-7 that;  6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let you...

Theme: My Refuge and Fortress  Text: Psalm 91:1-2 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High. Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” There's no better place to be secured than the presence of God. No wonder the enemy requested the hedge covering of Job be lifted to prove if he really loves God (Job 1:8-9). There's an invisible hedge covering over your life as a child of God. Also, a better blood is speaking good tidings over your life than the blood of Abel. That blood is the blood of Jesus Christ. If you trust in the Lord, He shall keep you safe at all times. The Israelites experienced His covering in Goshen during the plaques that befell Egypt. You will also experience a much better one in Christ Jesus if you make home with Him. You can confidently say, He is your refuge and fortress. You take refuge at a place you believe you won't suffer harm. Whatever might have bee...

Theme: Faith in God's Deliverance  Text: Mark 5:39-42 39 When He came in, He said to them, “Why make this commotion and weep? The child is not dead, but sleeping.” 40 And they ridiculed Him. But when He had put them all outside, He took the father and the mother of the child, and those who were with Him, and entered where the child was lying. 41 Then He took the child by the hand, and said to her, “Talitha, cumi,” which is translated, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.” 42 Immediately the girl arose and walked, for she was twelve years of age. And they were overcome with great amazement. Faith usually does the unthinkable or unreasonable in our lives. You take a step of faith which to the ordinary person, is not worth it. But if you believe just as Jesus told Jarius in verse thirty-six that, “Do not be afraid; only believe.” then you'll experience God's Mighty Hand of deliverance.  When Jesus got to the house of Jarius, those there to mourn, ridiculed Him for saying the chi...

Theme: Lord, If You Are Willing Text: Luke 5:12-13 12 And it happened when He was in a certain city, that behold, a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus; and he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” 13 Then He put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately the leprosy left him. There are conditions that makes you feel rejected, unwelcome, unfortunate, deprived and just name them. But that shouldn't be your worry. Look unto Jesus and understand His will for your circumstances. The leper, has suffered rejection due to his I'll health. He might have sort for healing but found none. However when he met Jesus, he submitted to His authority and implore Jesus to make him clean if He's willing. Do you see every predicament in God's light or as the work hand of witches and wizards? Theme:The Acceptable Tabernacle  Text: Matthew 19:1-8 17 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; 2 and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. 3 And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. 4 Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.” 5 While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!” 6 And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were greatly afraid. 7 But Jesus came and touched them and said, “Arise, and do not be afraid.” 8 When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only. Dear beloved in the Lord, you can only gain salvatio...

Theme: Behind the Fears  Text: Mark 6:49-50 49 And when they saw Him walking on the sea, they supposed it was a ghost, and cried out; 50 for they all saw Him and were troubled. But immediately He talked with them and said to them, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.” The disciples have been with Jesus for sometime and knows His movement. This text is an excerpts of the passage on Jesus walking on the sea. The disciples on seeing a figure, assumed it was a ghost. Little did they know it was the Lord. Beloved in the Lord, what scares you is likely to bring out the best in you. In all circumstances trust God to bring you to an expected end. If something creates doubts and fear, don't look at the thing but look to God. If the disciples had look unto Christ as their strength, they wouldn't have been so scared on the sea. Rise up and lay your burden before Christ. Prayer: Dear God, help me to look up to You in all things and grant me the power to overcome every storm in my ...

Theme: Praise Increases Your Harvest   Text: Mark 6:41-44 41 And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among them all. 42 So they all ate and were filled. 43 And they took up twelve baskets full of fragments and of the fish. 44 Now those who had eaten the loaves were about five thousand men. Giving honour, adoration, thanksgiving and praise to God is key to your breakthrough. Jesus blessed the five loaves of bread with two fishes and it fed multitude. If you invited God in all you do through thanksgiving, you'll equally experience that power of divine supply.  An increase harvest comes from the Lord. Always look up to Him to increase your harvest. The Lord makes worth and adds no sorrows (Proverbs 10:22). The excess loaves of bread and fishes reveals God's power and provision. Just lift up a praise, worship, adoration to the na...

Theme: Withhold Not Your Testimonies Text: Mark 5:16-20 16 And those who saw it told them how it happened to him who had been demon-possessed, and about the swine. 17 Then they began to plead with Him to depart from their region. 18 And when He got into the boat, he who had been demon-possessed begged Him that he might be with Him. 19 However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.” 20 And he departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him; and all marveled. Testimonies reveal the power of God and lessens the devil's cunningness. In the text for our consideration, a demon possessed man encountered Jesus and has been delivered. The news went out like wildfire and in no time, the natives began to come and see for themselves. However, instead of sharing in the joy of their son and brother, the were gripped with fear, pleading Jesus ...

Theme: The Unexpected Miracle  Text: Luke 7:11-15 11 Now it happened, the day after, that He went into a city called Nain; and many of His disciples went with Him, and a large crowd. 12 And when He came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother; and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the city was with her. 13 When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.” 14 Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, “Young man, I say to you, arise.” 15 So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother. The widow of Nain had nothing left expect her pathetic story (she's lost her husband and now her only consolation, her son is also dead) which she believes will linger on with her until she eventually dies herself. There was no hope of not reaching the cemetery but when Christ came into the story, everything changed. Christ can ...

Theme: The Blessed Can't Be Cursed  Text: Numbers 23:11-12 11 Then Balak said to Balaam, “What have you done to me? I took you to curse my enemies, and look, you have blessed them bountifully!” 12 So he answered and said, “Must I not take heed to speak what the Lord has put in my mouth?” It is good to serve the Lord and be under His divine covering. Many have suffered all forms of abuse spiritually and physically because they have failed to secure themselves in Christ Jesus. Dear friend in the Lord, do you know the Lord the redeemer of the world? Let Him walk with you through this journey of life and you'll never be afraid. The purpose of Balak is for Balaam to curse the Israelite but God changed it for His glory. I like the phrase of Balak in the eleventh verse, that I took you to curse them but you have blessed them bountifully. Your adversaries cannot prevail over you if you have a well established relationship with God. In cursing you, their mouth shall decree blessings o...

Theme: Destroy the Idols  Text: Jeremiah 16:18  18 And first I will repay double for their iniquity and their sin, because they have defiled My land; they have filled My inheritance with the carcasses of their detestable and abominable idols.” God is a merciful God and is not interested in a sinner perishing that is why He sent Christ Jesus to redeem us.  Although you've surrendered to God, yet there are idols still in your life. The Idols could be over eating, obsession, addictions, amongst others. Some make use of the phone for a long time without checking or reading the online Bible. They just cannot live a second without the phones. This becomes primary in their lives and God becomes secondary. Cast those idols in your life away and ask God to prevail more in you. Prayer: Unto You alone be praised and honour. Have mercy upon my life and help me to do away with any form of idol in my life in Jesus name. AMEN!

Theme: Divine Power Over Limitations  Text: Matthew 10:1 And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. Dear beloved in the Lord, you've been called and chosen by God. He didn't call you forth to be intimidated by circumstances rather, He gave you power to overcome. You have power over unclean spirits, to cast them out. If the enemy is intimidating you in any area of your life, arise and rebuke that evil spirit in the name of Jesus Christ. Cast them out of your fields (Marriage, children, education, finances, career, business, investment, etc..). If you have faith like a mustard seed you can speak to every mountain in your life. Don't let the evil one rule over you. In the same vein, you have authority over all kinds of sickness and diseases. Sickness and diseases can take the form of physical health challenge, fear, spiritual weakness, amongst others....

Theme: Labourers for the Harvest  Text: Matthew 9:36-38 36 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” The harvest is indeed plentiful, there are a lot of people who still haven't been reached with the Word of God. It's up to you and I to pray for more labourers from the Lord. Some labourers are either lazy or afraid to move into harvest. It takes only the power of God to strengthen them into the harvest. The church needs more Pastors, Evangelists, Teachers, Apostles and Prophets to go about the ministerial work and this can be done perfectly if we ask the Father to raise men and women to occupy these positions. Make time to pray each day, that the Father sends labourers into His harvest. Prayer: Father raise u...

Theme: Purpose Driven  Text: Luke 4:42-44 42 Now when it was day, He departed and went into a deserted place. Our High Priest on His earthly journey never swayed from His purpose of coming down. He does it well and expresses it to many who draw close to Him. As you are required to imitate Him, it is important to note, you ought to be purpose driven in life. Identifying your core mandate as a Christian is key to doing the Father's will. The command is to make disciples of all nations. How often do you share the Gospel with someone? If you have not been good at spreading the message you need to work on that.  There are number of things that distract you in life that hinders you from spreading the Gospel. The people tri...

Theme: Take a Step Forward  Text: Matthew 4:12 12 Now when Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, He departed to Galilee. The imprisonment of John the Baptist, paved way for Jesus to start His ministry. John is to bore witness of who Christ is and he did that very perfectly ( John 1:19-34).
