DEVOTION ~ GOD COMMANDS OUR VICTORIES

Theme: God Commands Our Victories  Text: Psalm 44:4-8 4 You are my King, O God; Command victories for Jacob. 5 Through You we will push down our enemies; Through Your name we will trample those who rise up against us. 6 For I will not trust in my bow, nor shall my sword save me. 7 But You have saved us from our enemies, and have put to shame those who hated us. 8 In God we boast all day long, and praise Your name forever. Selah Oh mine! Today marks the last day in 2020. How has your year been like? I guess there were ups and downs; You had to face little and great battles in life. But through all the struggles, there has been a friend like no other by your side. This friend is God. If not for God's mercies, you would have been consumed by the wickedness of evil people. What the wicked intend to do against you turn out to be for your good through the power of God. If the Lord is with you, then your enemies cannot harm you. For God will command your victories. Possessions and fame ca...

DEVOTION ~ SING TO THE LORD

Theme: Sing to the Lord  Text: Psalm 95:1&2 95 Oh come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. 2 Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. What the Lord requires of us is to come before His presence with thanksgiving. God has done a lot for us throughout the year. He has redeemed and sustained our lives. Our sign of gratitude is to sing to His praise with hymns and psalms. Why don't you take up this attitude as the year comes to an end? Let is usher you into the new year.  Throw a challenge to yourself today to glorify God's name with songs. Adore the name of the Lord without demanding anything from Him today. Let your praise rise up like a fragrance before Him. You can only be complete and whole through honoring God with hymns and psalms. Lift up your voice and adore the Lord. Prayer: Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, Fearful in pra...

DEVOTION ~ A NOTABLE MIRACLE WILL LOCATE YOU

Theme: A Notable Miracle Will Locate You Text: Psalm 83:18 18 That they may know that You, whose name alone is the Lord, are the Most High over all the earth. God rules in the affairs of men and had the final say to what must happen or not happen. Our enemies may try their possible best to attack us but they cannot prevail for God has the final say. If our prayers to God for deliverance is to show his glory, we shall overcome every obstacle in our lives.  What are your desires in life? What troubles you the most? Do you want your desires to be met and as well conquer your troubles? Then you need to watch how you ask the Lord for help. In asking, seek that God's glory be revealed and manifested. In so doing, the Most High will exalt you.  The year is almost ending, let your prayer reach the Throne Room of mercy. Request of the Lord to do a notable miracle in your life that will show forth for all to give glory and honour to Him.  May the Lord perfect His will in your life....

DEVOTION ~ THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH AND SONG

Theme: The Lord is My Strength and Song  Text: Isaiah 12:1-3 12 And in that day you will say: “O Lord, I will praise You; Though You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me. 2 Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.’ ” 3 Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. We serve a merciful God whose love and mercy is renewed each day towards us. God forgives us of all our sins when we confess them to Him. His anger is replaced with compassion and He comforts us in His warm embrace. He is our strength and song in all things.  If we put our trust in any other thing apart from God, we will be disappointed woefully. Money, fame, possessions, and things we take pride in can all be lost in a blink of an eye. However, trusting God will always lead us to an expected end. He is our salvation (the Redeemer of our souls from damnation). With Him, ...

DEVOTION ~ PRAISE THE LORD

Theme: Praise the Lord!  Text: Psalm 148:1-6 148 Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens; Praise Him in the heights! 2 Praise Him, all His angels; Praise Him, all His hosts! 3 Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all you stars of light! 4 Praise Him, you heavens of heavens, and you waters above the heavens! 5 Let them praise the name of the Lord, for He commanded and they were created. 6 He also established them forever and ever; He made a decree which shall not pass away. As today marks the last Sunday of the year, consider all that the Lord has done for you throughout the year. Had it not been the mercies of the Lord, you wouldn't have been alive. The pandemic (COVID-19) has taken lots of lives globally yet, you are still alive. That is not by your might but by the grace of God. The best way to show gratitude to God is by praising Him. Let praise fill your heart and it shall overflow from your lips. Irrespective of who you are, begin to sing to God's glory for shie...

DEVOTION ~ SPECIAL IN GOD'S EYES

Theme: Special in God Eyes  Text: Titus 2:11-14 11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. God in His infinite wisdom decided to create man in His image. This alone shows how He adores and loves us. Parents take pride in having children that resembles them and this is just a tip of the iceberg of how God feels creating us in His image. Though sin tried had to separate us from God, He kept His love intact and sent Jesus Christ to rescue us from sins' crip. You're a special person in God's eyes.  The grace of salvation is Jesus Christ who offered Himself for us to pay for our sins. He...

DEVOTION ~ THE WORD BECAME FLESH

Theme: The Word Became Flesh Text: John 1:14 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. The Word of God is Jesus Christ who has been in the beginning with the Father. In Him are all things were made either small or great (John 1:1-5). His true identity is seen in Revelations 19:13; He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. The spoken Word of God is truth, the way to the Father and the life everlasting.  God loved us so much, He wants to deliver us from damnation such that, when the fullness of the time had come, He sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law to redeem us (Galatians 4:4). Jesus took the nature of man and walked upon the earth. The celebration of His birth should be done to glorify the Lord. We should extend hands to others in giving cheerfully as God gave Jesus to us.  The glory of the Lord...

DEVOTION ~ CHRIST OUR BANNER

Theme: Christ Our Banner Text: Isaiah 11:10-16 10 “And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse, who shall stand as a banner to the people; For the Gentiles shall seek Him, and His resting place shall be glorious.” 11 It shall come to pass in that day that the Lord shall set His hand again the second time to recover the remnant of His people who are left, from Assyria and Egypt, from Pathros and Cush, from Elam and Shinar, from Hamath and the islands of the sea. 12 He will set up a banner for the nation's, and will assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. 13 Also the envy of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off; Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not harass Ephraim. 14 But they shall fly down upon the shoulder of the Philistines toward the west; Together they shall plunder the people of the East; They shall lay their hand on Edom and Moab; And the people of Ammon shall...

DEVOTION ~ THE HOLY MOUNTAIN

Theme: The Holy Mountain  Text: Isaiah 11:6-9 6 “The wolf also shall dwell with the Lamb, the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them. 7 The cow and the bear shall graze; Their young ones shall lie down together; And the lion shall eat straw like the ox. 8 The nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole, and the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper’s den. 9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. After the Lord's judgement of the earth, He will settle His own on His holy mountain. All things will become anew and the law of hostility will be broken. The fear of the prey will be removed as the predator will be friend's with it. Wickedness cannot dwell in God's presence again. What we see happening on the earth; deceit, uncleanness, wickedness, murder, usurping, etc will by n...

DEVOTION ~ THE LORD'S JUDGEMENT

Theme: The Lord's Judgement  Text:Isaiah 11:3-5 3 His delight is in the fear of the Lord, and He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, nor decide by the hearing of His ears;   4 But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked. 5 Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, and faithfulness the belt of His waist. In yesterday's devotion, we learnt a Branch of Jesse shall reign forever and we identify Him as Jesus Christ. He has done the redemptive work successfully by dying on the cross and resurrecting on the third day. His second return is what we will be looking at in today's devotion. Jesus will return to judge the world as a King who will demand of His servants to give account of what they have done with resources given them.  The salvation of the Lord is a free gift and for that matter, anyone who believe...

DEVOTION ~ A ROD FROM THE STEM OF JESSE

Theme: A Rod from the Stem of Jesse  Text: Isaiah 11:1-2 11 There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots. 2 The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. The prophecy of the Messiah had been written by the prophets of old and was revealed at the appointed time of the Lord. Jesus is this Messiah. He is of Jesse's descendants. Jesse is the father of David the king of all Israel. God has assured king David, his throne shall be established as his son shall ascend the throne and rule forever. The rod of authority and power therefore stemmed from Jesse's lineage. The Saviour of the world can be traced back to the family line of Jesse the son of Boaz and Ruth, and he is also the grandfather of king Solomon.  The promises of God are Ye and Amen, He does not relent in any promise made. If the Lord establishes you, n...

DEVOTION ~ GOD WILL ESTABLISH YOU

Theme: God Will Establish You Text: Psalm 98:1-4 89 I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever; With my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness to all generations. 2 For I have said, “Mercy shall be built up forever; Your faithfulness You shall establish in the very heavens.” 3 “I have made a covenant with My chosen, I have sworn to My servant David: 4 ‘Your seed I will establish forever, and build up your throne to all generations.’ ” Selah God is faithful in every way with anyone who comes into covenant with Him. He demonstrated His mercies and kindness towards king David and his descendants. Likewise will He not fail concerning His doings in your life. Therefore, give thanks to God at all times. The mercies of the Lord is built in Christ Jesus who took the punishment of the guilty upon Himself even though He knew no sin. He is a seal of God's word, for God's Word is settled in Him. If you come therfore to Christ and surrender to Him, a covenant is established that will...

DEVOTION ~ THE LORD, MY SUPPORT

Theme: The Lord, My Support  Text: Psalm 18:16-19 16 He sent from above, He took me; He drew me out of many waters. 17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, From those who hated me, for they were too strong for me. 18 They confronted me in the day of my calamity, but the Lord was my support. 19 He also brought me out into a broad place; He delivered me because He delighted in me. The Lord Almighty is always ready to protect His own. The psalmist said, help came from above for him and he was taken out of many waters. The troubles of life can keep compounding but you should not let it trouble you for God holds the key to your life. God is ever present in the flood, fire and storm with you. He won't permit evil to override you (refer to Isaiah 43:1-3). The Lord will deliver you from your adversaries. The enemy is constantly looking for ways to pull you down. It is for this reason you must never withdraw from God's presence. For when you are in God's presence, there's a div...

DEVOTION ~ THE GOLGOTHA EXPERIENCE

Theme: The Golgatha Experience  Text: Psalm 18:7-15 7 Then the earth shook and trembled; The foundations of the hills also quaked and were shaken, because He was angry. 8 Smoke went up from His nostrils, and devouring fire from His mouth; Coals were kindled by it. 9 He bowed the heavens also, and came down with darkness under His feet. 10 And He rode upon a cherub, and flew; He flew upon the wings of the wind. 11 He made darkness His secret place; His canopy around Him was dark waters and thick clouds of the skies. 12 From the brightness before Him, His thick clouds passed with hailstones and coals of fire. 13 The Lord thundered from heaven, and the Most High uttered His voice, hailstones and coals of fire. 14 He sent out His arrows and scattered the foe, Lightnings in abundance, and He vanquished them. 15 Then the channels of the sea were seen, the foundations of the world were uncovered at Your rebuke, O Lord, at the blast of the breath of Your nostrils. In yesterday's devotion, ...

DEVOTION ~ THE FLOOD OF UNGODLINESS

Theme: The Floods of Ungodliness  Text: Psalm 18:4-6 4 The pangs of death surrounded me, And the floods of ungodliness made me afraid. 5 The sorrows of Sheol surrounded me; The snares of death confronted me. 6 In my distress I called upon the Lord, And cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple, and my cry came before Him, even to His ears. An unrighteous life only sparks flames of fear and regrets. Sin does not allow the soul to find rest rather, it causes restlessness in the doer. The Holy Scripture made it known, the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus (Romans 6:23). The psalmist said, the pangs of death surrounded him and the flood of ungodliness made him afraid. When one commits sin, it brings about torment in the life of the individual the most sorrowful of all the consequences for sinning is death.  An unrepented soul that dies has no hope of repenting in death. The chance of repenting is right here while you're alive. C...

DEVOTION ~ CALL UPON THE LORD

Theme: Call Upon the Lord  Text: Psalm 18:1-3 18 I will love You, O Lord, my strength. 2 The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. 3 I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies. The established relationship between us and God is built on love. God loves us unconditionally and He demonstrated it through Jesus Christ (John 3:16). It is required of us to reciprocate this love but we have not been able to do so. To love the Lord is to obey His commands (John 14:15). The psalmist have experienced the power of God and so expressed he will love the Lord, his strength.  The psalmist addresses the Lord as his rock, fortress, deliverer, God, strength, shield, the horn of his salvation and stronghold. Every description given is a nature of God in Christ Jesus. Jesus is the solid rock on which the foundation of our faith is built. He...

DEVOTION ~ MIRAGE OR MIRACLE?

Theme: Mirage or Miracle?  Text: Acts 12:8-16 8 Then the angel said to him, “Gird yourself and tie on your sandals”; and so he did. And he said to him, “Put on your garment and follow me.” 9 So he went out and followed him, and did not know that what was done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision. 10 When they were past the first and the second guard posts, they came to the iron gate that leads to the city, which opened to them of its own accord; and they went out and went down one street, and immediately the angel departed from him. 11 And when Peter had come to himself, he said, “Now I know for certain that the Lord has sent His angel, and has delivered me from the hand of Herod and from all the expectation of the Jewish people.” 12 So, when he had considered this, he came to the house of Mary, the mother of John whose surname was Mark, where many were gathered together praying. 13 And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a girl named Rhoda came to answer...

DEVOTION ~ FERVENT IN PRAYER

Theme: Fervent in Prayer  Text: Acts 12:1-7 12 Now about that time Herod the king stretched out his hand to harass some from the church. 2 Then he killed James the brother of John with the sword. 3 And because he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to seize Peter also. Now it was during the Days of Unleavened Bread. 4 So when he had arrested him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four squads of soldiers to keep him, intending to bring him before the people after Passover. 5 Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church. 6 And when Herod was about to bring him out, that night Peter was sleeping, bound with two chains between two soldiers; and the guards before the door were keeping the prison. 7 Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, “Arise quickly!” And his chains fell off his hands. As dear beloved child of G...

DEVOTION ~ THE GREAT DOINGS OF GOD

Theme: The Great Doings of God  Text: Psalm 126:1-3 126 When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, we were like those who dream. 2 Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” 3 The Lord has done great things for us, And we are glad. The most sorrowful moment is being in bondage or captivity. All your will and desires are denied as you're forced to please your taskmaster. Israel experienced the life of liberty and captivity. The return from captivity was like a dream to them because, they can't believe the moments of pain and torture have come to an end. This is how it feels like when you surrender everything to God and watch Him transform your life to the better.  There's an inner peace and joy unspeakable when God takes charge of your life. Your lips will continually sing as a sign of testimony of what the Lord has done. The praise from within is phenomenal and nat...

DEVOTION ~ CRUSHING THE LEVIATHAN HEADS

Theme: Crushing the Leviathan Heads Text: Psalm 74:14 14 You broke the heads of Leviathan in pieces, and gave him as food to the people inhabiting the wilderness. In yesterday's devotion, we learnt about the deliverance in the Living Fountain. God's able to destroy every evil destructive arrow shot at His own. Today, we will be learning on Leviathan. Leviathan is a sea serpent with lots of heads. It also symbolizes the enemy of the children of God. Isaiah the prophet made mention of how it shall be destroyed by God; In that day the Lord with His severe sword, great and strong, will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan that twisted serpent; And He will slay the reptile that is in the sea (Isaiah 27:1). There are some Leviathan Spirits operating in your life. These spirits are cunny and deceitful. They are quick to present themselves as though they are on your side when the purpose of drawing near to you is to destroy your life. The serpent of old, appeared to be conce...

DEVOTION ~ DELIVERANCE IN THE LIVING FOUNTAIN

Theme: Deliverance in the Living Fountain  Text: Psalm 74:13;15 13 You divided the sea by Your strength; You broke the heads of the sea serpents in the waters. 15 You broke open the fountain and the flood; You dried up mighty rivers. It's another awesome day to learn great and mighty things about the Lord. The power of God's deliverance has been seen in the scene of history in the Egypt to the land of promise journey. God did mighty things; the parting of the sea for Israel to pass through and giving them water in the wilderness through the rock. In all these, we sea how God is able to have total control over the sea or water. The water is also a representation of life - Jesus said He is the Living Water (John 4:1-14). We will therefore look at water as our lives in this text. Irrespective of your challenge in life (sea), God has the power to separate you from that challenge and give you the victory by dividing the sea with His strength. The saving grace of Jesus Christ has sep...

DEVOTION ~ THE LORD, MY SAVIOUR AND REDEEMER

Theme: The Lord, My Saviour and Redeemer  Text: Isaiah 49:24-26 24 Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, Or the captives of the righteous be delivered? 25 But thus says the Lord: “Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible be delivered; For I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will save your children. 26 I will feed those who oppress you with their own flesh, and they shall be drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine. All flesh shall know that I, the Lord, am your Savior, and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.” Taking clue from the animals' kingdom, we often see the weak animals become vulnerable in the claws of the mighty animals that take them prey. In the human perspective, those who have no help usually become prey to the wicked or tyrants. However, there's a message of hope to the weak from the Lord; to deliver them from it all. Yours is to draw near to the Lord and accept Him as your Lord and personal Sav...

DEVOTION ~ GLORIFIED SERVANT OF GOD

Theme: Glorified Servant of God  Text: Isaiah 49:3-4 3 “And He said to me, ‘You are My servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.’ 4 Then I said, ‘I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for nothing and in vain; Yet surely my just reward is with the Lord, and my work with my God.’ ” In yesterday's devotion, we learnt God knows us by name and we are preserved by Him from evil. Today, we're continuing with the relationship that exists between God and His own. In our dispensation, through the mercies of Jesus Christ, we are called the Lord's beloved children. This explains, when the Lord said He knew us before we were born, then He has predestined us so He calls us His own, justified His Word and glorified us in Christ Jesus: Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified (Romans 8:30). When you live in accordance to God's will, He is glorified through you. The nature...

DEVOTION ~ HIDDEN IN GOD'S QUIVER

Theme: Hidden in God's Quiver Text: Isaiah 49:1-2 49 “Listen, O coastlands, to Me, And take heed, you peoples from afar! The Lord has called Me from the womb; From the matrix of My mother He has made mention of My name. 2 And He has made My mouth like a sharp sword; In the shadow of His hand He has hidden Me, and made Me a polished shaft; In His quiver He has hidden Me.” Identifying ourselves with the Lord should be done publicly for all to know who we are in this world. As light cannot be hidden, so we also cannot hide the faith we profess. The Lord has called us right from the womb of our mothers'. Even before we saw the light of day, God has been faithful to identify us uniquely as His own. There's no soul on earth that's formed in the absence of God. Even the children of the wicked are known to the Lord.  The Lord has called us by name, and given us power to overcome. The power of life and death lies in the tongue, we as children of God have the Word of God on our l...

DEVOTION ~ LET GOD DEFINE YOUR DESTINY

Theme: Let God Define Your Destiny  Text: Isaiah 48:13-15 13  You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels;  Let now the astrologers, the stargazers,  and the monthly prognosticators  stand up and save you  from what shall come upon you.  14  Behold, they shall be as stubble,  the fire shall burn them;  They shall not deliver themselves  from the power of the flame;  It shall not be a coal to be warmed by,  nor a fire to sit before!  15  Thus shall they be to you  with whom you have labored,  your merchants from your youth;  They shall wander each one to his quarter.  No one shall save you. In an age where people's attention is keen on what is likely to happen next in their lives, they resort to mediums that isn't right seeking answers. The prophet Isaiah gave a remark that, such people are wearied in the multitude of their counsels. If yo...

DEVOTION ~ GOD HAS FORGIVEN YOU

Theme: God Has Forgiven You  Text: Psalm 85:1-3 85 Lord, You have been favorable to Your land; You have brought back the captivity of Jacob. 2 You have forgiven the iniquity of Your people; You have covered all their sin. Selah 3 You have taken away all Your wrath; You have turned from the fierceness of Your anger. It's another beautiful day and as we rise from bed, let's lift up our voices to thank God for the grace to be counted amongst the living. God is good to us in all things. The wonderful deed of the Lord is what the psalmist is making bare to us in today's text.  God has been favorable to the land of our birth, the land we find ourselves in and every part of the earth. This land can be your life as well. The favour of God brings deliverance to anyone who believes and trust his/her life into God's care. Don't hold back your land (your life, marriage, children, career, finances, ministry, family, list every sphere of your life) from the saving grace of God. R...

DEVOTION ~ YOU CAN'T BE SAVED BY IDOLS

Theme: You can't be Saved by Idols  Text: Isaiah 47:12-15 12 “Stand now with your enchantments And the multitude of your sorceries, in which you have labored from your youth— Perhaps you will be able to profit, perhaps you will prevail. 13 You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels; Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, and the monthly prognosticators stand up and save you from what shall come upon you. Decisions in life either produce positive or negative outcomes. If you choose wisely in the Lord, you will enjoy a positive and pleasant outcome. However, if you decide to take path with darkness, you will have bad repercussions. An...

DEVOTION ~ YOU'RE NOT AN ISLAND

Theme: You're Not an Island  Text: Isaiah 47:10-11 10 “For you have trusted in your wickedness; You have said, ‘No one sees me’; Your wisdom and your knowledge have warped you; And you have said in your heart, ‘I am, and there is no one else besides me.’ 11 Therefore evil shall come upon you; You shall not know from where it arises. And trouble shall fall upon you; You will not be able to put it off. And desolation shall come upon you suddenly, which you shall not know. In yesterday's devotion, we learnt we must be mindful of our ways. Evil habits must be shun and the spirit of humility be embrased. Today, we are continuing with some things we trust that would not be of help to us as children of God. As a child of God, you're called into a bigger family that you must never abandon or reject in any way.  Evil cannot be hidden from God although He hates it. Therefore, do not take delight in doing evil but rather flee from ungodly behaviors. God is watching and will uncover yo...

DEVOTION ~ BE MINDFUL OF YOUR WAYS

Theme: Be Mindful of Your Ways  Text: Isaiah 47:8-9 8 “Therefore hear this now, you who are given to pleasures, who dwell securely, Who say in your heart, ‘I am, and there is no one else besides me; I shall not sit as a widow, nor shall I know the loss of children’; 9 But these two things shall come to you in a moment, in one day: The loss of children, and widowhood. They shall come upon you in their fullness because of the multitude of your sorceries, for the great abundance of your enchantments. To draw closer to God, you need to keep to His command and as well be humble. If you love the pleasure of the flesh, you will not be able to live by God's standards for the things of the flesh contradicts God's purpose. Usually, because of the enjoyment that comes with it, you're most likely to believe, evil is far from you. The Lord has a message for you today. God is calling on you to have a relook at your life. If you take pride in your beauty, scholarly wisdom, riches and forg...

DEVOTION ~ YOU SHALL LOCATE YOUR TREASURES

Theme: You Shall Locate Your Treasures Text: Isaiah 45:3 3 I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the Lord, who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel. Having learnt in yesterday's devotion that God is able to level every height and make straight the crooked places in our lives, we will continue to look at how God will bless us with treasures. If the hindrance to your breakthroughs is lifted, then the path has been created for you to lay hold of what is rightfully yours and as well obtain even more. Treasures are hidden from the eyes and it takes lots of work to even come by a treasure. But with God, there's nothing hidden. When you have the Lord with you, you will be able to tap into great things that you have never imagined being able to reach. What the wicked think they have succeeded in making their own, will be given to you. The Lord will work it out in your favour.  At every stage of your life, God will...

DEVOTION ~ GOD WILL GO BEFORE YOU

Theme: God Will Go Before You   Text: Isaiah 45:2 2  ‘I will go before you  and make the crooked places straight;  I will break in pieces the gates of bronze  and cut the bars of iron. It is only the power of God that can go before us and make our crooked places straight. The Holy Spirit is a guide and teacher to the believer. He is with us in this dispensation to ensure we take the path to the Lord. Every path which leads to destruction, the Holy Spirit will clear it all off to ensure we walk in righteousness.  Dear beloved in the Lord, what are the crooked places in your life? The crooked place of your like may seem flourishing but not under the management of God. Anything that eliminates the God factor is crooked  and can be made straight (to align with God's will) if we avail ourselves to the Holy Spirit. Are you reluctant in surrendering an area of your life to God? It is the enticement of sin that's holding you bound deceiving you ...
